The TH Men’s Shelter is a supportive housing facility designed to provide safe, dignified accommodation and essential support services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Located in Dawson City, Yukon, the project delivers residential spaces alongside communal amenities and program areas that promote stability, well-being, and community integration. The design prioritizes durability, accessibility, and functionality while responding to the unique environmental and operational challenges of northern construction. Developed through close collaboration with stakeholders, the project supports the growing need for transitional and supportive housing infrastructure in the region. Upon completion, the facility provided a modern and welcoming environment that enhances service delivery and contributes to improved housing outcomes for vulnerable populations within the community.

My Role
Supported the project through design refinement, technical detailing, and construction administration, working closely with the lead architect to ensure the project objectives were maintained through completion. Contributed to the development and coordination of architectural details, consultant integration, and construction documentation, with a focus on constructability, durability, and functionality.
Played a key role during construction administration, managing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, conducting site reviews, and coordinating with the contractor and consultant team to resolve field conditions. Assisted in project close-out activities, including substantial completion reviews, deficiency tracking, and warranty-phase coordination, helping ensure the successful delivery of the facility and adherence to design intent.
