The Behchokǫ̀ Family Resource Centre is a 1,500 m² community-focused facility that combines daycare services, gathering spaces, and administrative offices for the Tłı̨chǫ community. With a construction value of approximately $25 million, the project was designed to support early childhood education, family services, and community engagement in a culturally meaningful and resilient northern facility.
As Project Manager, I led the project through both the design and construction phases, overseeing design development, technical detailing, and coordination across all architectural and engineering disciplines. I worked closely with the Tłı̨chǫ Government, consultants, and key stakeholders—including the Department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE)—to ensure the final design met operational needs, community expectations, and northern construction requirements. The project reflects a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to delivering high-quality public infrastructure in a remote northern context.
